Same anon from the AI question, why are you not pro nor anti AI?

Replied on: October 20, 2026 at 10:13:41 PM

I don't particularly subscribe to either the anti-AI or pro-AI camp. I prefer examining the actual mechanisms, benefits and externalities rather than treating technology like a moral alignment test. The anti-AI crowd sometimes seems determined to reject everything associated with it, while the extreme pro-AI crowd occasionally speaks as though we are one software update away from a flawless cyberpunk utopia. Neither position is especially compelling when you examine the variables. AI is a tool with a range of applications. It can help identify potential cancer in medical scans, provide round-the-clock tutoring, detect credit card fraud and automate tedious tasks. It can also enable sophisticated voice-cloning scams, encourage intellectual dependency, reproduce biases in hiring systems and complicate questions of authorship when AI-generated work is presented as human-made. Revolutionary technology still comes with the occasional administrative nightmare. Then there are the environmental costs: Electricity consumption, cooling requirements, hardware manufacturing, mining and electronic waste. These concerns deserve serious examination, but so does the broader context. Data centers, streaming, cryptocurrency, conventional computing, transportation, agriculture and industrial production all have environmental footprints. Singling out AI while treating the rest of our technological infrastructure as environmentally innocent seems like a rather selective application of ecological awareness. I understand why AI attracts so much attention; it is developing rapidly and introducing new problems that deserve scrutiny. But a discussion of environmental impact should account for measurable differences in energy use, emissions, water consumption and resource extraction rather than relying on whichever technology currently makes the most convenient villain. I actually wrote a blog about this on July 17, which I intend to publish eventually.

your music taste is genuinely legendary, how do you usually find music?

Replied on: October 18, 2026 at 4:00:51 PM

I don't know brah. I think one day I just told my brain to stop being a picky little shit and explore other genres without treating every song like it needed to stimulate my last remaining neuron. And I guess my brain took that instruction seriously and never looked back.

Are you a morally correct person?

Replied on: October 18, 2026 at 4:06:36 PM

If I am brutally honest, I have never been particularly comfortable calling myself a "morally correct" person. The phrase reminds me of those performative Twitter people who treat morality like a public relations campaign. They preach certain values, construct an identity around being virtuous and then inevitably discover that being perceived as a good person and actually behaving like one are two entirely different departments. Sometimes the archives begin speaking. Tragic developments in the kingdom of righteousness. I do not particularly like calling myself a "good person" either. Human beings are capable of extraordinary kindness under certain circumstances and remarkable cruelty under others. We contain contradictions, weaknesses, principles and the occasional spectacular failure of judgment. I see no reason to exempt myself from that observation simply because I happen to be the person experiencing my own consciousness. I think the internet has made this especially strange. After roughly 11 years online, I have witnessed enough discourse to suspect that we have collectively mistaken moral judgment for a recreational activity. Everything becomes a trial, every mistake becomes a confession of character and every person must eventually be assigned a permanent position somewhere between sainthood and absolute irredeemability. Apparently, human complexity is acceptable only until it inconveniences someone's argument. When I started university in late 2024 (against my will), I was more or less forced back into the physical world and I found the experience surprisingly ordinary. People were attending classes, worrying about their lives, laughing at stupid things and trying to get through the day. They were not constantly conducting moral investigations into one another. After more experiences throughout 2025, I began realizing just how distorted my perception of humanity had become. When your primary exposure to people consists of internet arguments, you might eventually mistake the loudest examples of human behavior for humanity itself. An unfortunate methodological error. So, no, I do not consider myself morally correct. I have my own principles, opinions and things I consider right or wrong, but I am also capable of making mistakes and behaving in ways I would criticize in someone else.

is it weird i find my own farts comforting i don't have a fetish because i find other people's farts disgusting

Replied on: October 18, 2026 at 3:58:14 PM

If I had the intellectual restraint of a wet napkin, I would immediately conclude that you have a fetish. But I do not know you personally, nor have I conducted a comprehensive investigation into the mysterious machinery operating inside your head, so let us entertain the possibility that there is more than one explanation. Another explanation is evolutionary disease avoidance. Your brain has a disgust mechanism that helps protect you from potential sources of contamination and someone else's bodily odors can trigger that response. Your own odors, however, are familiar to you, so your brain may perceive them as less threatening. It's basically your biological security system recognizing a familiar user and letting them through. So, yes, finding your own bodily odors less unpleasant than someone else's is not particularly extraordinary. Now, if this preference extends beyond familiarity and comfort into sexual attraction, that is a separate consideration worth reflecting on. There is nothing inherently wrong with discovering that about yourself, either. Human sexuality and psychology are considerably more complicated than people would like to admit.

Hi how are ypu feeling?

Replied on: October 15, 2026 at 3:26:14 PM

As I compose this response, my eyelids are being annexed by the dark shadows dancing in the mist, and I fear the local government of consciousness may soon declare my visual faculties a demilitarized zone.

Ireally want to be neocities neighbourhoods with you but idk whats your reason to link other websites. because its called 'bookmark' instead of neocities neighbourhoods

Replied on: October 15, 2026 at 3:24:37 PM

The reality is that these are not Neocities neighbourhoods. Nobody is building a residential district. There is no homeowners association, no municipal funding, and absolutely no evidence of a functioning local government. These are simply websites I like, admire or occasionally steal spiritual nourishment from. This is essentially my website-following department, where I observe other people's digital properties from a legally unspecified distance and add them to my little collection. This is also why most of these websites do not have me added back. They have no idea I exist. I am essentially standing outside their digital residence with binoculars, appreciating the architecture, while they continue making their websites completely unaware that I have appointed myself their unofficial neighbourhood historian.

you give me hikikomori vibes... are you one?

Replied on: October 5, 2026 at 5:59:48 AM

Never in my life have I heard someone say "hikikomori vibes". I genuinely wonder what kind of energy I give off for that to be your conclusion. But no, I wouldn't consider myself a hikikomori. I'm more of a shut-in person. I don't particularly enjoy going outside, and if I do, it is generally because I have been summoned for some important or obligatory operation that unfortunately requires my physical presence. Otherwise, I remain indoors where I belong, monitoring the situation from a safe distance. Although, I was one in the past. Throughout 2020–2024 it was on and off. There were periods where I basically withdrew from society entirely, followed by periods where I had to re-enter civilization because attendance was mandatory. So it wasn't exactly permanent. More like I kept getting deployed back into civilian life against my will.

your so pretty!!!! whats your skincare??? do you use makeup at least minimal???

Replied on: September 21, 2026 at 4:37:51 PM

As funny as it sounds, I don't really have a skincare routine. I don't trust throwing 20 products at my face and calling it maintenance. If my face feels particularly dirty or greasy, I will use Nivea Men's Deep Cleaning Face Scrub once in a while. Otherwise, the orders are simple: Don't touch or pick at my face, keep my bedsheets and hair clean, and try not to consume excessive sugar despite my ongoing war with soda addiction. As for makeup, I barely use it. Usually just messy eyeshadow and black lipstick on rare occasions. Eyeliner on my bottom waterline is probably the only thing I use somewhat regularly when I am in the mood.

your website is so cool!!! it's very stylized and I want to know how you made parts of it like the little details/decor, borders, and background. Do you make your own assets? if so what do you use? is it like vector? or do you just search images on the internet or did you then alter them with photoshop? or is it pure css? sorry for all the questions I'm curious to how your process works since the whole design seems to be so curated

Replied on: September 21, 2026 at 4:35:08 PM

I may not be able to give you the most precise answer, mostly because "borders" can technically refer to several different things depending on which particular element you are referring to. The general design is essentially a combination of photo decor, CSS and JavaScript functioning together, rather than one singular method. The decorative elements, such as the hanging keychains, are mostly things I find on Etsy that I would like to eventually own, so in a way my website has become a rather elaborate manifestation of my wishlist. The light brown window-like borders, meanwhile, are primarily CSS: Background gradients, relatively subtle shadows and in some cases, a low-to-medium opacity border are doing most of the work there. I also use the ::after pseudo-element to introduce the dirt texture, with mix-blend-mode: color-burn and roughly 70% opacity, although I occasionally incorporate external resources when CSS alone is not so needed. As for the moving background with the dots and lines that was primarily JavaScript and suffering combined. I personally don't like it, I have personal beef with it.

I think there is a website impersonating you

Replied on: September 15, 2026 at 8:30:05 PM

I saw the link you sent, and I've actually known about this dude since last year, so this isn't exactly breaking news to me. I wouldn't consider it impersonation because they aren't pretending to be me or directly copying anything. They have their own projects, their own stuff, whatever. Now, do I think it's a coincidence that they have that specific domain? Honestly, not really. I can't exactly prove what their intention is, but they seem to know who I am.
